The success of our company is based on our reputation in the professional field, and the satisfaction of our customers, from small residential improvements to large commercial projects.

Just before the turn of the century, our great-grandfather began working in the tile trade which would become many of our family members' trade over the next one hundred years.  At the same time, he became a charter member of the helpers union, Local 67, which was formed in response to the depression of the late 1880's - early 1890's.

The Bourbons that worked in the tile industry introduced their children to the tile industry. One of those children was Larry Bourbon.  He and his wife Nancy started a small company out of the dining room of their Chicago apartment in 1991.

This was the beginning of Bourbon Tile and Marble. Almost twenty years later, we have grown from a two-person outfit to a shop that employs fifty to one hundred union tile setters and helpers at any given time.  There are many Bourbons that work together in the business and we are proud to call it a "family" business. 

Our jobs range from large industrial to light residential. Our goal is to be the best tile intallation company in Chicago.  We have worked hard to build a company with professional and highly talented tile installers and finishers.  We strive to provide not only great quality installations, but great service to all of our clients as well.

With the ever changing products being introduced every day in the field of ceramic tile and marble, we are proud to say that, through years of experiencing the "ins and outs" of the business, we feel we are better able to handle any complex issues that arise on a job site pertaining to the installation of ceramic, marble, slate, granite or any other hard tile material.

It is rewarding when we walk around the Chicagoland area and see existing work, done by Bourbon Tile & Marble, Inc. decorating the floors and walls in so many of our local homes, restaurants, hotels, high rise buildings, and hospitals.  We are certainly very proud to be part of the continuous changing landscape of our great city and surrounding suburbs.
